A short Biography

Scott was born in Muskegon, Michigan in 1958 and fortunate to be born into a family with a strong Christian background and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord Savior at a young age. He is the oldest of four children.
Scott has always enjoyed viewing wildlife and being in the out of doors photographing God's creation; in the years before digital photogagaphy Scott used Cannon 35 mm cameras and now uses digital Nikon cameras. Scott lived in Jackson Wyoming for four years in his early twenties and was able to spend quite a bit of time in Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.

In 1987 Scott started one of the greatest adventures of his life when he married Nancy Averill; they have three children. Nancy is the nicest person and most self sacrificing person Scott has ever met; she always puts others before herself and is a shining example of what Scott would like to be like.
The picture to the right was taken at Athabasca Falls, Jasper National Park.Scott never really had formal training as a photographer but learned by trial and error; Scott learned early on it was all about the lighting and the best ligthing is at first and last light.

Scott's primary hope with this site is that God will receive the glory and that others will see God's Majesty through his creation. Hopefully this will give others a desire to visit these places and to have a personal realtionship with Jesus Christ.
